You can tella wella good musical when it's Grease
Greasers, Rockers and Pink Ladies. Did you dream of such personalities as your alter ego, even though you didn’t go to Rydell High School in the 50s, but the local grammar school from 1978-1982? Well now that Grease The Musical is in town, you can revisit your past and prove to your kids that you too were once trendy. I mean have you seen the return of the Pop sock (very prevalent in Edinburgh during the fringe this year – which means it’ll be trickling down us normal people next spring), the leather jacket as sported by French actor Romaine Duris, and (unfortunately in this case) the return of that strange shaped dress that was popular in the movie Grease? Well, like some weird time warp, you can bring the kids along to Grease the Musical at London’s Piccadilly Theatre with X Factor Winner Ray Quinn as Danny for a limited run until November 2009 – pretty electrifyin’ if I say so myself Tickets are still available at the Grease the Musical official website, with prices ranging from as little as £15 up to £50. Tickets for Christmas performances are on sale and bookings can be made up to January 2010
