The Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) has priced tickets into four categories depending on seating and with Category 1 tickets being the most expensive and Category 4 tickets the least expensive.

One third of the three million tickets available for the matches will be released to international fans. Of the remainder, one million will be released to fans in South Africa and the other one million to friends and family of the FIFA organisation. Demand is expected to far exceed supply so it’s important you decide which matches you want to attend and keep checking on availability. FIFA are taking applications for tickets now either through the official World Cup website or the official FIFA website. As of June 2009, it was estimated that over 630,000 tickets had been allocated.

You may be able to find tickets through other ticketing agencies such as Viagogo and Ticketmaster but they will be like gold dust so act fast!
